CAREER TECHNICAL EDUCATION (CTE)

CTE pathways are multi-year course sequences anchored in specific industry sectors. These courses integrate core academic knowledge with technical skills and Work-Based Learning to help prepare students for post-secondary education and careers. Many of the skills learned in CTE courses are transferable; students benefit from what they learn in a CTE pathway, regardless of whether they intend to pursue that field in their future.

Students who complete one or more CTE pathways while at Analy High School are honored at graduation and receive a special sash to wear. In addition, pathway completion may be used on resumes and college applications as evidence of a student's college and career readiness, and pathway completers may also be eligible for CTE-focused scholarships.
