Dear Analy Community—
At the back of my office, there is a wall covered with the blueprints and artist’s renderings of planned campus construction projects. These plans and images have been the result of dozens of meetings—involving teachers, architects, contractors and others—and represent a collective vision of how our campus will serve the community in years to come. This month will see the beginning of the work that will make that vision a reality.
Already, six new classrooms are being readied for students at the Student Center blacktop. This month, our Maker program and one of our Social Science classrooms will relocate there. Demolition of the spaces they leave behind will begin over Spring Break, and construction of a new state of the art Career Technical Education facility will begin this Summer. The new building will house fabrication and lab facilities that will allow the evolution of our Agricultural Science, Agricultural Mechanics and Maker Programs, as well as a professional-level kitchen and indoor outdoor event space that will take our Culinary and Hospitality programs to the next level. A number of other campus upgrades will also begin this summer, including upgrades to our bathrooms and gym buildings.
In the long term this work will transform our campus, and provide new and different ways for our teachers and students to work and play together. In the short term, we will be an active construction site—and we will have to accommodate the equipment, deliveries and personnel that come with that.
This week, improvements were made to the area at the back of the student parking lot to add spaces in preparation for the creation of an accessible construction drop off area in front of the main building that will remove some parking spaces there. Ultimately, these changes will help us improve traffic flow at drop-off and pick-up times. We will keep you posted about changes that impact parking and traffic as they develop.
We can’t wait to see our students in the new spaces!
Chuck Wade, Principal

Hola amigos! Got a Spanish One student?
Are you curious and would you like to hear what they sound like speaking Spanish? Ask them to share (via text or email) an audiolink called Vocaroo with you! They are attached to their google classroom assignments and can cover a variety of topics. Some kids have read their life story in Spanish, others have made an audiobook, or a podcast. Check it out!
Gracias y hasta luego,
The Spanish One Teachers

If you see one of these students congratulate them on being accepted into the Sonoma County Honor Band and North Bay Honor Orchestra! The band folks will be playing with students around the county at Weill Hall at SSU and the Orchestra members will be in the same place working with other orchestra students from Napa, Sonoma, and Marin county!

A group of students attended a welding camp called Arc Exposure. It was such an incredible experience and the students are so excited to the kick off Fabrication practice

The Sebastopol FFA Grapevine Pruning Team had an undefeated season and won the State Champion honors at the 2025 California FFA State Finals contest this past weekend at Fresno State! In FFA, each school can only have 4 students represent and compete at each state finals (team) contest. This year Lauren Brady, Jesus Martinez Diaz, Shellie Hance, and Iyla Kjaer represented our school and brought home the silver bowl trophy by winning 1st in cordon table pruning, 1st in cordon wine pruning, 3rd in the exam, and 3rd in cane raising pruning. Additionally, Lauren Brady was 3rd overall in the state, Jesus was 6th Overall, Shellie was 8th Overall, and Iyla won 3rd in Cordon Winegrape pruning!
Their teammates (Bailey Cassady, Sebastian Alvarez Figueroa, John Justus, Harlyn Menendez, and Ryan Saldana Sweeley) that stayed home had an extremely successful season as well and worked just as hard. Every single student who was on the team this year was recognized and won something at a contest throughout the season. (There were even 1st year students who won BIG TIME in statewide contests leading up to our state championship and our B-team beat many A teams in the state). If you see these students around campus give them a shoutout. They are rockstars! Enjoy some pictures from the year and thank you for the support of our amazing students! ~Emily Lokka~Ag Teacher

As we start our spring semester many students are continuing to expand their learning in a real-world setting and building on their career paths. These opportunities allow students to apply what they've learned in the classroom to real-life scenarios; these experiences are immensely valuable as students gain skills and explore career paths.

Latino Service Providers shared their fabulous Youth Promoters internship program.
What are Youth Promoters?
